Terms of service

These are the rules for using LuxuryCertify: what you send us, what we do with it, and what the report and certificate you receive do and do not mean.

What we provide

LuxuryCertify examines photographs of a handbag against the markers that decide whether it is genuine, and issues a written report and a certificate recording that finding.

The finding is an informed opinion on what the photographs show. It is not a physical inspection, not a valuation, and not a statement of ownership, provenance or legal title.

Your submission

You confirm that the photographs you send are your own, or that you have permission to have the item examined. Do not submit images you are not entitled to share.

Only send photographs of the item described. A report describes the item in the photographs it was drawn from, and cannot be transferred to a different bag.

How the finding is reached

LuxuryCertify uses AI-assisted photo assessment with a human-review process. Your report is released at the end of the service window you chose: a reviewer's sign-off settles which finding is released and does not bring the release forward. A finding is never changed, and never invented, to meet a deadline: where no usable assessment is ready, the review is reported to you as delayed.

Each report names the checks that were run and what each was compared against. Where a marker cannot be judged from the photographs supplied, the report says so rather than assuming an answer.

A verdict of not authentic records that a visible marker contradicts the brand. Inconclusive means the photographs do not show enough to decide either way. Neither is a determination of legal liability.

Service levels and payment

Reviews are offered at Premium — 12 hours, $30 · Express — 24 hours, $25 · Standard — 48 hours, $20. Payment is taken when you submit, through Base44 Payments, and the turnaround window starts once payment is accepted and every required photograph is held. Your report is delivered at the end of that window; if the review is not settled by then, it is reported to you as delayed.

Card details are entered on the payment provider's page and never reach our servers.

If a review cannot be completed

If the photographs supplied do not allow an assessment, the report states that and names the markers that could not be assessed. Contact us with your submission link and we will tell you what to send next.

Reports, certificates and sharing

Your report and certificate are issued for the item described in the report, at the service level you paid for. The name the certificate is issued to can be set from the report page before you share or download it; the finding recorded by the review is not editable.

A certificate is a record of the finding. It is not a valuation, an insurance document, or a certification of any brand.

Limits of the service

We do not inspect items in person, we do not buy, sell, consign or broker handbags, and we do not give legal or financial advice. Our finding is independent of the buying and selling of any item.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you have a question about an order already placed, contact us through the contact page.
